These terms and conditions do not affect any protection you may have under consumer legislation. We reserve the right to change or alter any of the above terms and conditions without notice but we will endeavour to inform ADIs of any changes as soon as possible.

STUDENTS

The following terms and conditions represent the basis upon which training is offered by ADI NETWORK. The provision of driving instruction is subject to the acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Driving Licences and fitness to drive:
Tuition is only available to persons who meet the following criteria:
Aged 17 or over, or aged 16 or over and in receipt of the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), or in receipt of the higher rate of Disability Living Allowance (mobility component).
Hold a current valid driving licence, full, provisional, or international. This must be produced to your instructor on or before your first practical lesson. Failure to do so will result in the lesson not going ahead.
Legally entitled to drive in the UK.
Fit to drive and any medical conditions thought to possibly affect your ability to drive safely disclosed to the DVSA and your instructor.

A licence check code must be set up and provided to your instructor, along with the last 8 digits of the long number on your drivers licence, prior to the commencement of your first scheduled lesson. Failure to provide this, or provide correct details, shall render your first lesson void and non refundable.

2. Payments & Lessons:
All lessons, are to be paid for 72 hours in advance, via bank transfer, to secure any booking.

If a lesson is not paid for in advance, then dates requested cannot be guaranteed.

Each lesson shall be invoiced in the above manner and a 24hr reminder shall be provided. If a lesson is not paid for, then the scheduled lesson shall not take place. The above also includes the Pass Guarantee Course, which shall be invoiced in advance and is also required to be paid in advance of lessons commencing.

3. Lesson bookings and cancellations:
If you need to cancel or rearrange your lesson at least 48 hours’ notice is required. Failure to give the required notice will result in the lesson being chargeable in full.
Your instructor reserves the right to cancel or terminate a lesson if it is suspected that the pupil may be unfit to drive due to the effects of alcohol, drugs (prescription or otherwise) or any medical condition affecting your ability to drive safely and legally. In such circumstances the lesson will be payable in full.

The minimum lesson duration is two hours. If for any reason the instructor is going to be late for your lesson they will endeavour to inform you at the earliest opportunity. If the instructor is late for your lesson missed time will be either credited to the end of the lesson where possible or added to the next lesson. If the pupil is late for their lesson the lesson will still finish at the planned time.

4. Pass Guarantee Course: The Pass Guarantee Course is an accelerated learning programme that requires a minimum of two, two hour lesson to be taken each week. The course includes unlimited tuition and also includes access to online theory tuition via “Driving Test Success” and also “Confident Driver via their respective websites.

Failure to maintain the minimum required hours per week shall be a breach of contract and render the Pass Guarantee Course terminated. In this situation all lessons delivered will be charged at the full hourly rate and deducted from the course fee paid with the remaining funds to be refunded via bank transfer addition the DVSA theory test must be passed before 20hrs of tuition have been delivered.

The Pass Guarantee  Course, is only available for weekday lessons, NOT weekends.

5.Refunds: All refund request must be submitted via email to mike.simpson@adi-network.co.uk. Any lesson prepaid for that fall outside of the 48hr cancellation policy shall be refunded in full. Refunds shall be sent electronically to the same account as was used to make the initial payment.

Refunds for the Pass Guarantee Course:

All lessons delivered shall be charged at the ‘full’ hourly rate, and any remaining credit refunded.

 

All refunds, are subject to an admin fee, of £47.50

4. Training location:
All lessons will start and finish at the same location unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance. The instructor will determine a location for practical lessons thought to be in the pupil and the publics best interests, this means that the instructor may need to drive the pupil to and from the lesson location initially, this journey time forms part of the paid lesson.

5. Training vehicles:
Training vehicles provided by the school are MOT’d, (where required), taxed and fully insured for driving tuition. The vehicle will be fully roadworthy and fitted with dual controls.

6. Practical driving tests:

Prior to booking a practical test, a ‘mock test’ must be taken and prior to going to a test booking, a ‘mock test’ must have been passed.
Your instructor reserves the right to refuse use of a driving school vehicle for test if he/she considers that provision of a vehicle could cause a risk to public safety.
Where a school car is used for test, the booking period will be based upon the instructor’s normal diary schedule. Depending on the time of the test this will require a minimum two-hour booking.
While your instructor will make every effort to ensure that the vehicle supplied for test will be fully roadworthy and comply with all legal requirements at the start of the test, he/she cannot be held responsible for vehicle failure that occurs during the test and is not liable for consequential loss.
Your instructor cannot be held responsible for test appointments cancelled by the DVSA due to bad weather, sickness, staff shortages or other reasons. Such cancellations are beyond the control of your instructor. Your instructor will advise about claiming compensation from the DVSA.
It is your responsibility as the candidate to ensure that you bring with you to the practical driving test your provisional driving licence (photocard ID). The lesson fee and ‘use of car’ fee for the booked period will be charged if this is not presented for test and the test subsequently doesn’t take place.

The test booking confirmation, received from the DVSA, is to be forwarded on to your allocated instructor.

Pass Promise:

If you don’t happen to pass first time shall pay pay for your second test

You must have at least one lesson  a week. If you miss a week you have to make the week up by doubling up.

You will have completed your Pupil Progress Chart.

 You will have passed a mock test.

 All tests are booked in the knowledge and agreement of your instructor.

 If in the event you fail your test you will be required to take one remedial lesson per week until the 2nd test

 ADI Network shall pay for the 2nd test .

 All tests and lessons are conducted with an ADI Network Driving Instructor

8. Online Theory Tuition: Online theory tuition is provided by Driving Test Success and is subject to their own terms and conditions.

9. Confident Driver: Access to the Confident Driver website is subject to their own terms and conditions.
