A response from the DVSA

I have just received an update directly from the DVSA regards driving lessons and when they may resume:

“Hi, Driving instructors should limit instruction to key workers preparing for an essential driving test. We are working closely with driving instructor associations on how and when we can resume driving tests and lessons.

We’re keeping the situation under constant review, in line with government guidance, and will provide further information as soon as we can. “

Sadly we are still waiting on the go-ahead from the government.
