With the new changes to the driving test just a few weeks away, I have looked at the new and some what controversial manoeuvre, “Pulling up on the Right”.
This is actually a manoeuvre I use daily, each morning taking the kids to school, there are usually only places to park on the opposite side of the road.
As it is a busy main road, it is not wise, nor safe to attempt a turn in the road, so I opt for the “new” manoeuvre, which is actually an old one and very much in daily use.
The video link below demonstrates, in great detail, what to teach and how to teach it, pointing out reference points, highlighting the potential dangers and how to work, safely, around them.
easy to do except for instructors that work in the dark and break the law to teach it
