Following the success from last year, The Big Learner Relay is back. Yet again, hundreds of driving instructors and pupils across United Kingdom will be taking part in Big Learner Relay raising massive amounts of money for Children in Need.
The Big Learner Relay Pudsey top Box will be relayed from one driving school car to the next over the 15 day event, covering 3000 miles worth of driving lessons which will end with a grand finale on Friday 17th November at Knowsley Safari Park, Liverpool.
Driving instructor cars will be going spotty and fundraising for Children in Need. Over the last three years the event has raised over £250,00.
Helen Ferrar at Collingwood Learner Driver Insurance said: “I never cease to be amazed at the dedication of the Big Learner Relay committee in organising this event and the goodwill and generosity shown by all of the instructors and learners around the UK who get involved in the fundraising.
“From the relay itself to the final lap event and the Big Party it’s clear that everyone enters into the spirit with their spotty cars and outfits and all for such a worthy cause.
“This is the 4th year that Collingwood Learner Driver Insurance has supported the BLR and we continue to subsidise the cost of the car spot packs which have been the focus for the “sign a spot” fundraiser.
“As more and more people have joined the event over the years the demand for these spot packs has continued to increase and so there are now 1250 up for grabs on the BLR online shop. As the saying goes ‘When they are gone they are gone’ so don’t hang about, buy now, join in the fun and get your car looking totally spotty and soon you will be getting those all-important donations for Children In Need!
